Brief CV

I graduated from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Ι obtained my MSc in psychology of social intervention at the University of Granada (Spain). At the University of Granada, I also completed my PhD on the effects of social power on emotional experience and expression. I worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Granada and then at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences. My main research interests focus on intergroup relations, social identity and emotions as well as on the consequences of social and economic inequality.

Research interests

My research interests are in the areas of social power, social and economic inequality, emotions and social identity. Much of my research is about the social-psychological consequences of inequality. I am also interested in the social-psychological processes and the factors that explain people’s participation in collective action and support for policies that aim to reduce economic and social inequality. My research concerns a variety of contexts and domains such as interpersonal relations, intergoup relations, and organizational settings.
