Doctoral Thesis Title

Development and psychometric properties of the Greek Diagnostic Personality Inventory (GDPI-5) following the DSM-5 model in a Greek population.

Brief Description

The current thesis is working towards developing a new psychometric tool to evaluate personality disorders, following the new dimensional approach of PD as this is illustrated in the new DSM-5. A second goal is to test and evaluate the theoretical model supporting the new tool, following the recommendations of the DSM-5 experts. More specifically, with the use of modern psychometric techniques, a series of cross cultural adaptations of the new model will be performed. Finally and most important goal will be to develop a new psychometric tool following update scientific discussions and literature suggestions upon the complicated psychopathology construct and advanced psychometric techniques for the validity and reliability of such instruments.
